Is that safe? Should you be there?

Follow me on this part of my adventure where I have conversations with Cambodia Police officers, take pictures with grumpy kids because they want money from me, and I tell them that they should go to school instead of begging for money, meet a family that says I am a reincarnated monkey from a previous life, which in turn they gift me some items from their store, try and have a flock of children sell me postcards, or 5 for that matter, for a dollar, and tour orphanages to see first hand the challenges that those less fortunate experience.

“Cambodia, why would someone want to go to Cambodia?” said a friend of mine when I was talking about one of my travel experiences.  All I could reply with was “Why not?!” To many, Cambodia is a desolate 3rd world country with nothing exciting to offer and nothing to do.  This could not be farther from the truth and I am unable to put into words the fun and exciting things that I go to do in Cambodia.  Its full of life, history, freedom and utter beauty.  Like a book, it’s not recommended to judge it by its cover, read it first – or in this case, see it first!
